HIPC Show 2019
HIPC is excited to host our annual spring show on Saturday, September 7th at Gray Horse Farm in Brimfield, IL. Dressage, Combined, and Stadium classes will be offered.
Registrations received after August 31st will be assessed a $20 late fee. Late registrations will be accepted through Monday, Sept 2nd pending enough room in the schedule.
SHOW DETAILS
Apparel ASTM/SEI approved helmets required. Show attire is encouraged, but not required. Mounts should be well-groomed, reflecting regular care. Tack should be safe, clean, and well-adjusted, reflecting regular care.
Awards and Scoring Dressage, Combined, Scored jumping, and Fun classes will be judged and placed with ribbons awarded through 6th place. Awards will be available 30 minutes after the results have been posted. Not scored Stadium only classes are not awarded.
Coggins Negative Coggins Test dated after Sept 7, 2018 REQUIRED with entry.
Dogs No dogs, please, at request of farm owner!
Dressage Tests Please note that the USEA, USEF, and USDF dressage tests were updated for 2019 and 2018 competition year, respectively. If you require a copy of a current test, please click the link below.
Entries: A separate form submission is required for each horse and rider combination. Show secretary reserves the right to limit dressage rides per rider, depending on scheduling or for the safety of horses/riders.
Food: lunch will be available on the grounds.
Late Entries: Late entries are accepted on a space available basis, with a $20 late entry fee.
Order of Class Dressage: Tentative start time 7:30 am
Combined/Stadium Tentative start time 12:00 pm
Refunds In the event the competition has to cancel, there will be no refunds.
Stabling Stabling not available.
Class - Dressage Only Participant will ride the class-assigned dressage test. Readers are allowed. Class is scored and awarded first through sixth.
Class – Combined Test Participant will ride the class-assigned dressage test. Readers are allowed. Participant will ride the stadium course assigned to the class. Class is scored and awarded first through sixth.
Class - Not Scored Jumping Participant will ride the stadium course assigned to the class, typically for schooling or warm up purposes. Class is NOT scored.
Class - Pick Your Own Line Participants may select their own course, earning points for every jump successfully jumped on the first effort without dropping a rail. The participant with the highest point value at the end of 60 seconds is the winner. The available fences and respective point values will be posted. Class is scored and awarded first through sixth.
Class - Power and Speed Participants will ride a specified course. If the participant completes the course within the time allowed and without any penalties, the participant will start the bonus round over a shortened course, after the judge’s audible signal. The participant with the fastest time, and least number of penalties is the winner. Class is scored and awarded first through sixth.
